Nightclubs are fun, but sometimes the concoction of alcohol, testosterone and atmosphere can be trouble. If constant trouble is not controlled it can force your bar to close. You have to look at more than the money to ensure the long time existence of your club.
The type of patrons will determine the security needed. You must not only stay on top of what goes on inside but also outside in the parking lot. Always work with law enforcement so as not to get unwanted attention from law and liquor enforcement.
Closing time can also be a time for friction. If police need to be called to help close a bar regularly the police will start sending undercover cops in to find things like underage drinking and drugs.
Expect visits from the fire department and health department routinely. Work with your neighbours; building a good partnership and maintain good security is the best way to do this.
